Sewing Room

This room was named in honor of Marilyn Griffin and her amazing sewing skills. Marilyn lived with her husband “Griff” on the ranch property where Annie’s Place is now located and was a dear friend of Gladys, who is the owner of Annie’s Place.

The beautiful star pattern quilted picture was hand quilted by Marilyn shortly before her death and given to Gladys by her husband, Griff. The Treadle sewing machine is similar to one that Gladys first learned to sew with.

The Sewing Room is a lower level room featuring a private patio overlooking the beautiful Annie’s Place garden area, stunning view of the magnificent Boulder Mountain to the north, and the distinctive Boulder sandstone slick rock ledges that regularly highlight the beautiful Boulder Sunsets.
