Slick Rock Room
The name for this room was inspired by the distinctive white and red Boulder sandstone slick rock ledges that can be viewed from this beautiful room. Growing up in Boulder, Gladys, the owner of Annie’s Place and her mother, would regularly go into the ‘slick rock country’ to gather pieces of red sandstone to bring back to make patios and sidewalks out of. She also remembers the rock ledges to be great places to play and climb on while growing up in Boulder.
The Slick Rock Room is a lower level room featuring a patio overlooking the beautiful Annie’s Place garden area, the distinctive red and white Boulder sandstone slick rock ledges that regularly highlight the beautiful Boulder Sunsets in the evenings and the surrounding green, luscious Boulder Farmland.
